Review: Innisfree Calming Gel Cleanser

I know it's been a while but I'm back with another review, though short, and it's on the underated Innisfree calming gel cleanser!

[CLAIMS]

"This slightly acidic gel cleanser enriched with moisture contains dandelion extracts to provide your skin with a dewy and soft cleansing experience."

After using this cleanser, my face doesn't exactly becomes dewy but it's definitely soft. For those of you who are looking for a squeaky clean finish, I doubt this cleanser is for you because I have this 'unclean' feeling after cleansing. Nonetheless, it's only because of the low ph and texture of this product so no worries!

[INGREDIENTS]

5-free system: Free of sulfate surfactants, mineral oil, animal ingredients, colorant and synthetic fragrance
CR: innisfreeworld.com

on Cosdna, this product doesn't reflect any red flags, just 3 yellow flags for Phenoxyethanol(preservative) , PEG-40 Hydrogenated castor oil(surfactant emulsifier) and PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate(surfactant).

[PH]

This cleanser is slightly acidic which I would presume is about a pH 5 to 6 (perfect for our skin).

[SMELL AND TEXTURE]

Pleasant Dandelion scent.
In contrast to other Innisfree cleansers, this cleanser has a watery gel texture which is great for those with sensitive skin and just want a mild cleanser.

[PRICE]

My friend had gotten it for me from Korea at 18000 Won while Innisfreeworld sells this at SGD$23.43(excludes shipping fee).
Comparing with the other Innisfree cleansers, this is definitely on the pricier side.

[EXPERIENCE]

THE GOOD:
-Slightly acidic so it doesn't dry out our skin and damage our skin's moisture barrier in the long run.
-Can serve as a first step cleanser for makeup (but I still prefer a cleansing oil) or the second or just a daily cleanser.
-Mild cleanser. Great as a daily cleanser and even for those with sensitive skin.
-5 free system

THE BAD:
-A little pricey
-For those seeking a cleanser that solves skin troubles like acne, large pores, dull skin etc , this cleanser isn't for you. It's just a simple cleanser that retains your skin's condition as it is.

THE UGLY:
-Unavailable in countries outside Korea and not all Innisfree stores in KR have this product

Surprisingly, this gel cleanser lasted about 3 and half months (twice a day usage) but I will not be repurchasing it!
